The Moule’s opened their first glass shop in 1949 in Grass Valley, California. Grandpa William Moule Sr., along with his wife Marge and their first three children, purchased the Grass Valley shop after his return from WWII as a P.O.W. Bill & Marge eventually had 12 children, nine boys and three girls. All of the men grew up working in the glass industry, and today, several of them own and operate their own glass shop. Members of the Moule's family currently operate seven shops throughout Northern California & Hawaii: Moule Paint & Glass in Grass Valley, Moule’s California Glass in Redding, Moule's Truckee River Glass, Moule’s Foothill Glass in Auburn, Moule’s Elk Grove Glass, Moule's Glass of El Dorado & Moule's Maui Glass in Maui, HI.
Moule's California Glass, Inc. is owned and operated by Michelle Tegerstrand, a 4th generation Moule.
